By accessing or using Picastro, you ("User", "you", "your") agree to follow this Policy. If you are using Picastro on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Policy. If you do not agree to these terms or lack such authority, you are not permitted to use the Platform.

 

Prohibited Uses

- Illegal or Harmful Content: Publishing illegal content or engaging in illegal activities, including:

  - Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful software.

  - Sharing others' personal information without consent.

  - Collecting or attempting to collect data from other users without their permission.

  

- Adult Content**: Posting or promoting any form of pornography or adult content.

 

- Exploitation and Harm to Minors: Sharing content that exploits, abuses, or is harmful to minors, including child pornography.

 

- Violence and Terrorism: Promoting violence, terrorist activities, or encouraging illegal conduct.

 

- Weapons and Drugs: Selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons, or ammunition.

 

- Fraud and Scams: Facilitating fraud, pyramid schemes, or misleading other users about products or services.

 

- Harassment: Engaging in harassment, threats, or abusive behaviour towards other users.

 

- Infringing Intellectual Property: Using or sharing content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

 

– No religious or political or other non astronomy or astrophotography related content.

 

System Abuse

Misuse of Picastro’s systems is strictly prohibited and can result in immediate suspension or termination of your account. Examples include:

 

- Attempting to hack or compromise the security of the Platform.

- Spreading viruses, malicious software, or corrupted files.

- Accessing or attempting to access data or accounts you do not have permission to access.

 

Resource Usage

You must not consume excessive resources that could disrupt the Platform for other users. Prohibited activities include:

 

- Deliberate attempts to overload the platform (such as Denial of Service attacks).

- Engaging in activities that degrade performance or interfere with others' use of Picastro.

 

No Spam Policy

Using Picastro to send unsolicited or bulk messages ("spam") is not allowed. This includes sending unsolicited promotional messages via any communication channel on the Platform.

 

Defamation and Objectionable Content

While we encourage open dialogue and freedom of expression, we reserve the right to moderate, disable, or remove content that is defamatory or harmful to others, Picastro, or the community. Content moderation will be at our sole discretion.

 

Copyright Infringement

You must not post copyrighted content unless you have permission from the copyright holder. If we receive a notice of copyright infringement, we may remove the content and take further action, including terminating repeat offenders' accounts. If you believe your copyright is being infringed on Picastro, please contact us.

 

Account Security

You are responsible for securing your Picastro account, including keeping your password confidential. We recommend changing your password periodically to enhance security.

 

Enforcement

We reserve the right to take corrective actions in the event of a breach of this Policy, including:

 

- Account Suspension or Termination: Your account may be suspended or terminated immediately if you violate this Policy.

- Content Removal: We may remove any content that violates this Policy or is otherwise harmful to others or the Platform.

- Reporting to Authorities: We may report violations to law enforcement if we deem it necessary.
