The following Terms of Service ("Terms") explain your obligations when using the Picastro mobile app ("App"). These Terms are available only in English, and it is your responsibility to make sure you understand them.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

The pages available on the Picastro mobile app ("App") are owned and operated by Picastro Global Ltd ("Picastro"). By accessing Picastro or using any part of the App, including any content or services ("Services"), you agree to become bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the Terms, you may not use the App, its content, or any of its Services.
Modifications of Terms
Picastro reserves the right to modify or replace the Terms at any time. If modifications are substantial, Picastro will notify you by posting an announcement on the App. You are responsible for reading, reviewing, and becoming familiar with any such changes. Continued use of the App following notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Description of Service
Picastro offers various services and content on the App. Services may include, but are not limited to, displaying text, user comments, messages, information, data, graphics, photographs, images, illustrations, and software ("Content"). Picastro may change, suspend, or discontinue the Services, including any Content, at any time without notice or liability.
Your Obligations Upon Registration
To use certain Services (such as uploading images, creating a user profile, commenting, messaging, and liking and commenting on images), you must register with the App and select a password and username. You must not:
Select or use a username that impersonates another person. If we fid this out you may be removed
Use a username without authorization from the person whose rights it may infringe.
Use a username that is offensive, vulgar, or obscene or harmful to anyone else.
Failure to comply will result in the immediate termination of your account. Services are available only to individuals who are at least 12 years old.
User Conduct
You may not use the App or the Services to:
Intimidate, impersonate, threaten, harass, or abuse other users.
Post or transmit any Content that is libelous, infringing, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, abusive, profane, offensive, or illegal.
Post or transmit any communication designed to obtain passwords, accounts, or private information from other users.
Post non-astrophotography or astronomy content.
Create unwanted messages ("Spam").
Create multiple accounts for self-promotion.
Post copyrighted content without permission.
Violate any international or regional laws.
You also agree not to:
Use automated means to access the App without permission.
Interfere with the proper functioning of the App.
Bypass any security measures.
Advertise or solicit users without their consent.
Sell or transfer your account.
Picastro reserves the right to remove any Content or accounts at any time for any reason. To report Terms abuse, please email: support@picastroapp.com.
Content Submitted to the Service
By uploading your photographic works or your space artwork, you retain full rights. However, you agree that your content may be used on the and off the App for promotional purposes, in compliance with applicable copyright laws.
The following types of images can be submitted:
Images relevant to space, astronomy, astrophotography and space art.
Images personally worked on by the user.
Images from remote telescopes including your own remote telescope
Examples of prohibited content include:
Reposting others' work without modifications or permission.
Posting artistic AI generated renders of fake celestial objects. You will be removed from the app!!!!!
Posting unrelated astrophotography or science related photography.
Picastro reserves the right to change any rules at any time and make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
Redistribution of Content
Picastro reserves the right to distribute user-submitted content and images to other parties, websites, applications, and entities for non-commercial purposes, with proper attribution to the author.
Links
The Services may provide links to other websites or resources. Picastro is not responsible for the availability or content of such external sites or resources.
Hotlinking
Hotlinking images or videos from Picastro or within Picastro is prohibited. Non-compliance will result in account termination
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Picastro or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, or for any direct damages exceeding €100.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Picastro and its affiliates from any liability arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.
Warranty Disclaimers
The Service, Content, and App are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
